Deep-Fried Seafood Tofu (4 servings)

Ingredients:

  • 150g small prawn, shelled, deveined and finely chopped

  • 10g corn flour

  • 2 pieces soft water tofu

  • 2 eggs white

  • 1 tsp finely chopped red chili

  • Salt and Pepper, to taste

  • Flour

  • Enough cooking oil for deep-frying

 

Preparation:

Mash tofu thoroughly.

Add in prawn, chili, egg white, corn flour, salt and pepper into mash tofu and mix well.

Spread mixture out in a try and steam for about 20 minutes. Set aside for cooling before cutting into pieces.

Coat tofu pieces with flour and deep fry in hot oil till crispy.
